Email Privacy Request Send a written request to our privacy address and include your registered account email and the specific data action you need — access, correction or deletion. We confirm receipt within 48 hours and keep you updated.

Every data-handling practice at 2zz is built around keeping your account information accurate, accessible only to you, and retained no longer than the law requires.

Cookies and Tracking

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and analytics cookies to understand which pages load slowly on your device. You can turn off non-essential cookies in your browser settings at any time without losing access to your account.

Account Security

Your account password is hashed and never stored in plain text. We use two-step verification by default for withdrawals and for changes to your registered mobile number or email address.

Payment Data Handling

We do not store your full UPI ID, Paytm wallet credentials or PhonePe PIN on our servers. These are passed through encrypted channels to the relevant payment processor and we retain only a transaction reference number.

Data Retention Period

Active account data is held for the life of your account plus the period mandated by Indian law for financial records. After your account is closed and the retention window expires, we delete or anonymise your personal data.

Requesting Your Data

You may request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. We deliver this in a structured, machine-readable format via email within 14 days. There is no charge for one request per calendar year.

Policy Updates

When we change this policy in a material way, we send a notification to your registered email address at least seven days before the change takes effect. The version date at the bottom of this page shows when it was last revised.

We collect your name, date of birth, contact email, mobile number and the identity document you submit for verification. We also log your device type, IP address and the payment method — UPI, Paytm or PhonePe — you use for each transaction.

We share data only with payment processors needed to complete your UPI, Paytm or PhonePe transactions, and with identity-verification services required by law. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

Raise a privacy ticket through the Help Centre or email our privacy team directly. Include your registered account email so we can verify your identity. We send the data package within 14 days of confirming who you are.

Yes. Submit a deletion request through live chat or the Help Centre. We will close your account and remove personal data after the statutory retention window — required for financial transaction records under Indian law — has passed.

Transaction records linked to UPI, Paytm and PhonePe payments are held for the period required by applicable Indian financial regulations. Once that window closes and your account is inactive, we anonymise the records so they can no longer be linked to you personally.
